Blackburn -- Shooting Update

With production only a month away, there is a lot going on with Blackburn!  We are knee deep in contracts/legal, finding locations, and scheduling shooting days.  Good stuff.  But what is better, is that we are ALMOST done with casting!  This weekend should bring that chapter to an end and we can then move on to the wonderful world of table reads and rehearsals.

In the meantime, the early marketing/media campaign is underway!  Connect to us--and the movie--by friending us on Facebook and following us on Twitter!

Watch the Ghosts of War Webseries

Ghosts of War is a documentary produced by Elsinore Productions along with Paranormal Inc.  It focuses on haunted Civil War sites--as well as haunted homes associated in some way with the war.  After making the rounds through two television networks, it is now being released as a webseries, with each episode focusing on one haunted location.  Watch the webseries on the official Vimeo channel--as well as keep up with the episodes there.  You can check out episode one right here!

2013 Fall Project - Blackburn

We will be shooting a psychological/supernatural thriller Fall 2013, tentatively titled Blackburn, and we are ramping up for this shoot by hiring two production teams for alternate shooting dates (and to have a backup if there is a scheduling conflict with any crew members).  To that end we will need two of the following:

1st Assistant Director:  Primary duties include directing when the director is using video assist, preparing each scene for shooting, and managing production team during set-ups.

Camera Operator:  DSLR experience (Canon) a must.  Helpful if you have a working assistant that you already use for shoots.  Having your own camera is a plus, but not a must.

On-set Sound:  Experience with dual system sound will be necessary (or at least knowledge/practice of such).  Knowing how to boom and monitor the recorder at the same time helpful (in case there's not a boom operator present that day).  Having your own gear not necessary.

Script Supervisor:  (may need only one of these) Primary duties include script supervision, continuity, publicity stills, and logging camera/audio data.

Production Manager:  (may need only one of these) Primary duties include recruiting and managing production assistants for on-set help, tracking of wardrobe/props/gear, and daily reports (call sheets, etc.).

The film will be shot on nights and weekends Oct/Nov/Dec 2013--but not EVERY weekend.  We will try to schedule shooting dates around community schedules--and plan stand-ins for when a crew members cannot be present (also why we are hiring two of each).  The film will mostly be shot in Fayette County (so close by).

This will be a low budget feature--so keep that in mind when giving us a price quote for your work (flat rates for project will be even better).  Regardless of pay, EVERY crew member will receive IMDb/film credit (yes it will be an actual listed production, and yes it will be distributed/for sale after a theater/festival run), a screener of the finished product, and invited to attend the wrap party/screenings.

If you are interested in any of these positions, please send us an email of interest, with the position in the subject heading, to info@elsinoreproductions.com.  Please include any links for reels, resume, etc. that you may have--as well as what pay requirements would be.  And be sure to add our official Facebook page to stay tuned to updates, new hires, casting calls, etc.  Thanks!
